Nice video! As a woman, I always feel intimidated when I’m in the weight room and that’s why I’m loving doing the Power 90 videos. I’m hoping after Power 90 and P90x I’ll have more confidence and the knowledge I need to dominate the weight room 🙂
Sorry about your Harry Potter…if it’s ruined I have all of them and you can borrow it 🙂
Lol Harry survived the splash fortunately. Thanks for the offer though! That’s awesome that you have found something you love for exercise. That makes the process so much easier. For me, my favorite cardio is still racquetball (nothing like burning 1000 calories in a hour) so the key it to find your niche and go with it. SAWS!!!!
Thanks for the shout-out. Well said and congratulations on the non-scale victory.
I don’t think it matters how big you are, every person is a little self-conscious at the gym. Definitely some kind of sociological / psychological process in that setting. Maybe because we don’t like struggling/smelling/breathing like an emphysema patient in front of complete strangers.
Because of my insane study schedule for the BAR (ask Jamie J.D. to vouch), I compensate by riding my bike to get around everyday. It’s a great cardio/calorie burner/leg exhaustion work out. The first week took a lot of extra planning (showering the night before, condensing study materials into a small backpack size, leaving earlier in the day to stay on time, etc) but I’ve never looked back because I enjoy being outside after sitting on by butt all day.
I recommend to anyone who thinks they may be interested, although you definitely need a small pack of baby-wipes to clean up a little in a bathroom before sitting next to someone who wants to study.

Keep’em coming Nate.
